She is survived by : her husband Frank Brookings; her daughter Renee Vergis (Joe); her sister Louvenia Carter; her sister-in-law Priscilla McGee; her grandchildren, Christopher Dopson, Caroline Dopson, Rylan Sidaris, Carlie Wyatt and Sean Stubbs; her step-children, Michael Brookings, Diane Brookings and Virginia Brookings; and her daughter Gwendy Durham. Interment will be private.
