The fatal crash happened at WebThe accident happened on Avenue 7 1/2, just west of Firebaugh Boulevard, at approximately 7:00 p.m. A westbound Mazda was traveling on Avenue 7 when, for unclear reasons, it veered into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming Ford. The accident happened just before 4:30 p.m. on August 20, near Firebaugh. Two people were rescued from the wreckage by good Samaritans and were rushed to the hospital once first responders arrived.
